2008 Awards

SPSS was recognized by Intelligent Enterprise as a "Company to Watch" in 2008. The publication cites,"the affordable alternative in analytics, SPSS focuses on predictive modeling, statistical analysis and data mining. The company is making a point of playing well with others, as in its recent supply partnership with Business Objects. Growing demand for predictive analytics should stand SPSS in good stead for 2008."


2007 Awards

Jack Noonan, president and chief executive officer of SPSS Inc. was named winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Yearİ 2007 award for the Lake Michigan Area program. The award program recognizes leaders and visionaries who are creating and building world-class businesses. Awards are given to entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities



SPSS was recognized by industry analyst firm Nucleus Research for providing the technological advancements that led American Airlines to win a 2007 Nucleus Research Technology ROI Award. American, the world's largest air carrier, relies on SPSS predictive analytics to generate customer information its executives use to make key business decisions.


2006 Awards

SPSS Inc. has been awarded the 2006 Industry Innovation & Advancement Award in Predictive Analytics by Frost & Sullivan. Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents this Award to a company that has demonstrated excellence in new products and technologies within its industry, as well as innovation by launching a broad line of emerging products and technologies.


2005 Awards

SPSS Inc. was named the most customer-centric solution provider in the marketing automation category by CRMGuru.com. SPSS was one of seven CRM solution providers tapped for CRMGuru Summit Awards for CRM Solution Excellence, based on a year-long study of CRM solution providers and input from customers, users and partners.



SPSS Inc. was selected as a "Company to Watch in 2005" by Intelligent Enterprise Magazine in its 2005 Editors Choice Awards in the Customer Intelligence category. The annual award recognizes 60 companies that provide vision, technology innovation and customer leadership in attaining the intelligence enterprise.



SPSS Inc. was awarded the 2005 Product Innovation Award by Frost & Sullivan for its pioneering role in predictive customer relationship management (CRM) analytics. Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents this Award to a company that has demonstrated excellence in new products and technologies within its industry, as well as innovation by launching a broad line of emerging products and technologies.


2004 Awards

SPSS Inc. was named the Technology Awards 2004 "CRM Solution of the Year" by The Banker magazine. This award program, which is run in conjunction with the Financial Times Group, recognizes innovation and success in financial technology, and honors vendors who have made a significant contribution to advancing shareholder value and customer service within financial institutions during the last 12 months.


2003 Awards

SPSS Inc. is ranked #34 on the Deloitte 2003 Chicagoland Technology Fast 50 Program. The Chicagoland Technology Fast 50 annually ranks the fastest-growing technology companies based on revenue growth that are headquartered in the metropolitan Chicago area. Winners are selected based on the percentage of growth in revenues from 1998 to 2002.



CRM Magazine's 2003 CRM Leader Awards recognize superior performance in three areas: ROI excellence in customer companies, individual achievement, and vendor leadership. In the Analytics category, SPSS was recognized as "One to Watch."



Clementine and LexiQuest Mine customer Children's Memorial Hospital was included on the InfoWorld 100, which honors IT initiatives making use of innovative technology to further their organization's goal. The InfoWorld 100 awards celebrate enterprise IT projects that have made the best use of technology to meet business goals. Children's Memorial Hospital was listed in the Health Care category, for its use of both data mining and text mining.



In the August, 2003 issue of Macworld, SPSS 11.0 for Mac OS X was included in a listing of "Hot Products".



SPSS Inc. was included in the listing of the annual DM Review 100, which constitutes the top 100 companies in the business intelligence space as determined by DM Review readers.



KDnuggets News, a data mining and knowledge discovery newsletter, polled more than 600 of its readers, to find out which data mining tool they regularly used. The #1 response was SPSS Inc.'s Clementine data mining workbench. The second most frequently selected product was SPSS Inc.'s AnswerTree, a data mining tool that offers scalable decision-tree algorithms.



Business Intelligence, a bimonthly magazine for business intelligence professionals in Spain, evaluated leading offerings from vendors such as IBM, SAS, and SPSS. The magazine's readers and more than 1000 business intelligence professionals selected SPSS Inc.'s Clementine as the "Best Data Mining Tool for 2003."


2002 Awards

The Illinois High Tech Awards program is the only awards event in the state that exclusively recognizes and honors the achievements of the high tech industry. 2002 marked the second time that SPSS Inc. received this award; the company was previously honored in 1988.

SPSS Inc. claims the No. 14 spot on the Soft-letter 100. The Soft-letter 100 is a ranking of the top 100 personal computer software companies in the U.S. based on calendar year revenues.



SPSS Inc. is ranked No. 128 on the Software 500. The Software 500, published by Software Magazine, ranks the largest software vendors on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2000.



SPSS Inc. was ranked number 35 on the 2001 Greater Chicagoland Technology Fast 50, a listing of the region's fastest growing technology companies. Sponsored by Deloitte & Touche, the rankings are based on five-year revenue growth, from 1996 - 2000.

For the second time, the Chicago Software Association (CSA) granted SPSS Inc. its Enterprise Award. The Enterprise award is presented to the CSA member company which, through sustained growth, national reputation and recognized excellence in products and services, best represents the Silicon Prairie's growing stature as home to quality information technology companies.

Macworld magazine gives DeltaGraph 4.5 a four and a half mice (out of five) rating. The magazine cites "great variety of charts; nice scripts for automating report production" as reasons for the high ranking.

SPSS ranked No. 14 this year - up from No. 28 in 1998 - in the Data Warehouse 100, a comprehensive market study in which DM Review readers rate the vendors of data warehouse/business intelligence products used in their organizations.

The Chicago Software Association (CSA) presented SPSS Inc. President and CEO Jack Noonan with their Leadership Award at the 1999 CSA Annual Achievement Awards. The Leadership Award is given to the top executive of a member company whose guidance has been instrumental in the success of his or her organization. Noonan was recognized for building a cohesive organization, exhibiting a gift for prudent risk-taking and providing significant volunteer support for the betterment of the community.

MyDeskTop Network presented DeltaGraph, an award-winning charting and graphing software package from SPSS Inc. with an overall rating of five out of five stars. The rating is determined by compiling scores from a total of four categories:  features, speed, value and usability.

MacAddict magazine presented its highest rating to DeltaGraph 4.5 for Macintosh in the May 1999 issue, proclaiming the software as "Freakin' Awesome." DeltaGraph is the award-winning charting and graphing software package from SPSS Inc. recognized by MacAddict for its "enormous array of more than 80 2D and 3D graphs."
