PES Jobs & Scheduling – A description of jobs, job parts, relationships between steps, job creation and job scheduling. How to run jobs manually and via schedule. How to monitor job history. How to create and customize notifications.

TargetAudience:
The users of the Predictive Enterprise Services Solution who will be responsible for automating jobs and processes within the analytic environment. Those who will need to understand how jobs are created, scheduled and run.

Prerequisite
Predictive Enterprise Services: Overview & PEM Tour would be beneficial.

Overview:
This course covers the “how to’s” of building, running and automating analytic jobs within the Predictive Enterprise Services landscape. We will cover a description of the possible parts which can make up jobs and the mechanisms to set up order and relationships between steps. There will be discussion of monitoring jobs and jobs histories as well as the creation and use of notifications connected to job and content events. The course ends with an example demonstration showing the integration between PES and Dimensions through the use of a General Work job.
