Changing the startup folder in SPSS
Would you like an alternative to changing the folder where your data is stored each time you begin a new SPSS session or open a different file during the same session? SPSS 16.0 enables you to change the startup folder that appears in all “open” and “save” dialog boxes.
Here’s how you set the startup folder:
Figure 1: To set the default file location, go to the Edit Options dialog box.
This will be your permanent startup folder whenever you run SPSS—unless you change it to another location.
